1. Products & pricing

We do our best to describe and price every title accurately. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise, and may change without notice. Occasionally a listing may contain an error — if that happens, we’ll contact you before fulfilling the order rather than silently honour an incorrect price.

2. Orders & payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept once payment is confirmed. Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners; we do not see or store your full card details. We may cancel or refuse an order at our discretion — for example, if a title turns out to be out of stock.

3. Shipping & customs

We ship internationally through partner fulfillment networks. Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees — international logistics and customs clearance can add delays outside our control. Import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by your country are your responsibility unless we’ve explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.

4. Returns & refunds

If a book arrives damaged, misprinted, or different from what you ordered, write to us at oparer.boi@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund. Because of the cost of international reverse shipping, we generally handle these case by case rather than requiring the book be mailed back.

5. Accounts

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Intellectual property

Book covers, descriptions, and cataloguing on this site are used to identify and sell the titles in question; underlying copyrights remain with their respective authors and publishers. Oparer Boi’s own branding, design, and original editorial content may not be reused without permission.

7. Acceptable use

Please don’t use the store to do anything unlawful, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the site, or to place fraudulent orders.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Oparer Boi LLP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the store, beyond the value of the order in question.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts serving West Bengal.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the store after a change means you accept the updated terms.
